Blanket Company Ireland is a family run online blanket retailer selling across Ireland, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. The range is six products in three groups. Weighted blankets come in three sizes: 91 x 122 cm at 1.8 kg, 122 x 183 cm at 5.4 kg and 152 x 203 cm at 6.8 kg, filled with glass beads held in small stitched pockets so the weight stays evenly spread. Bed throws are the sherpa fleece blanket and the fluffy blanket, both 229 x 229 cm in milky white, with a soft textured pile. Novelty throws are the cookie blanket, the pizza blanket and the tortillas blanket, each a 203 cm round throw in 285 gsm flannel printed on both sides. Everything is machine washable on a gentle cycle and air dried. It is an online only shop with no showroom. The weighted blankets are homeware, not medical devices, and no therapeutic claim is made for them. Prices are in euro (EUR), from €49 to €129. Delivery is across Ireland, free on orders of €75 or more and otherwise a flat €25, arriving in 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. Payment is by card (Stripe) or PayPal. Returns: Irish and EU law give a buyer 14 days from delivery to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason, and this shop gives 15 days from delivery on the same terms.
